On February 17 to 18, 2024, the Institute for Quality Assurance and Educational Development (LPMPP) of Hasanuddin University (Unhas) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) event entitled “Preparation of Training Modules for Improving Basic Skills in Instructional Techniques (PEKERTI)”. The event was attended by 21 participants and took place at the Unhas Hotel and Convention Center.
The main purpose of this activity is to ensure that the content of the Pekerti module remains in line with the guidelines set by the Ministry of Education and Culture. In addition, this FGD also provides an opportunity for Pekerti/AA LPMPP Unhas facilitators to harmonize content and material between modules holistically.
One of the important aspects discussed in this FGD is the increase in the number of learning intellectual property rights (HaKI). Thus, it is expected that the materials will be more structured and useful for Pekerti/AA trainees.
In addition, this event also aims to support the implementation of the Flippen Classroom learning method in Pekerti/AA training. This method is expected to make it easier for participants to absorb training materials, both in face-to-face activities and in online learning.
In this FGD, participants were actively involved in discussions and monitoring, so that a higher quality training module can be produced that meets the needs of education stakeholders.
Thus, the Focus Group Discussion event at LPMPP Unhas is an important first step in improving the quality of Pekerti/AA training and having a positive impact on the world of education in Indonesia.
