LPMPP Unhas Receives Benchmarking Visit from UIII Delegation

Makassar, May 22, 2024 – Lembaga Penjaminan Mutu dan Pengembangan Pendidikan (LPMPP) Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) today welcomed a delegation from Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) in “Benchmarking Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia (UIII) to Lembaga Penjaminan Mutu dan Pengembangan Pendidikan Universitas Hasanuddin (LPMPP-Unhas)”. The event, which took place in Meeting Room “A” of LPMPP, was attended by seven representatives from UIII and a number of LPMPP Unhas leaders.
The UIII delegation was led by Suparto, S.Ag., M.Ed., Ph.D, Head of the UIII Quality Assurance Center. Other members of the delegation included Dr. Akhmad Mughzi Abdillah (Quality Assurance Group of the Faculty of Islamic Studies), Teguh Yudo Wicaksono, Ph.D (Quality Assurance Group of the Faculty of Business Economics), Tati Lathipatud Durriyah, Ph.D (Quality Assurance Group of the Faculty of Education), Regiani Yunistika, S.Pd., M.Ed (Quality Assurance Center Executive), and Yusuf Anbar Firdausi, S.Ag., M.Hum (Quality Assurance Center Executive).
Meanwhile, the team from LPMPP Unhas was led by Prof. Dr. Ir. Musrizal Muin, M.Sc, Chairman of LPMPP Unhas, along with Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., MN., Ph.D, Secretary of LPMPP. Also present were the heads of divisions from LPMPP Unhas, namely Prof. Dr. Yusring Sanusi B, S.S., M.App.Ling (Head of Curriculum Development and Learning Division), Prof. Dr. Kasbawati, S.Si., M.Si (Head of Accreditation Management Division), and Dr. Phil. Nat. Sri Widodo, ST, MT (Head of Internal Quality Assurance Division).
The purpose of this activity is to coordinate and discuss the Risk-Based Quality Assurance System and International Accreditation at LPMPP Unhas. This productive discussion is expected to strengthen the quality assurance system in both institutions and broaden insights related to best practices in education quality management.
In his remarks, Prof. Musrizal Muin expressed his appreciation for this visit and hoped that cooperation between the two institutions could continue in the future. “We are very open to sharing knowledge and experience in the field of quality assurance and educational development. Hopefully this meeting can provide great benefits for both parties,” he said.
The event continued with a presentation from Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., MN., Ph.D (secretary of LPMPP) followed by an interactive discussion session. The participants from UIII were also invited to take a closer look at the quality assurance process implemented at Unhas.
This benchmarking activity ended with a group photo session and handing over souvenirs as a memento. Both parties agreed to continue discussions and collaboration in the future in order to achieve higher educational quality standards.
