In the context of implementing the Applied Approach (AA) Training program, Hasanuddin University is included as a tertiary institution that meets the criteria as a Pekerti/AA Training provider to fulfill the requirements for Educator Certification for Lecturers (Serdos) by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology, Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology. Unhas, through the Institute for Quality Assurance and Educational Development (LPMPP), held the “44th Batch of Applied Approach (AA) Training for Hasanuddin University Lecturers” offline, which was attended by 35 participants from study programs within the scope of Unhas.

Starting the activity, the Chair of LPMPP Unhas (Prof. Dr. Ir. Musrizal Muin, M.Sc), in his speech said that the training was a form of implementation of LPMPP in an effort to carry out the process of increasing lecturer capacity. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Ir. Musrizal Muin, M.Sc explained, “This training is a part that is a continuation of the learning processes that have previously been carried out. “Therefore, Applied Approach (AA) training is specifically for teaching staff who have taught with construction, namely carrying out the improvement process in the courses taught.”

This training was held for 6 (six) days, namely 6 to 10 November 2023 and was attended by 35 participants within Hasanuddin University. After attending the training, participants can receive an AA Training Certificate after going through the report writing guidance process and uploading their final assignment via the SIKOLA application.
