Based on Law Number 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education and Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Regulation Number 62 of 2016 concerning the Higher Education Quality Assurance System, the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) is something that must be implemented. The output of SPMI implementation will be used by BAN-PT or LAM to determine the accredited status and ranking of study programs. One of SPMI’s activities at Hasanuddin University is the implementation of an Internal Quality Audit (AMI), which is a systematic and independent inspection (audit) by an internal auditor to determine whether quality maintenance activities and results have been implemented effectively in accordance with predetermined plans to achieve the objectives. and can also carry out analysis of strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities for improvement.

To support the implementation of internal quality assurance activities according to established standards, it is necessary to have an Internal Auditor who plays a role in carrying out the objectives of supervising education administrators. Therefore, the Quality Assurance and Education Development Institute through the Internal Quality Assurance Division is holding SPMI training for GPM-PR and Lecturers on 20 to 21 June 2023 which is located in Meeting Room A LPMPP. SPMI training is carried out online and is presented classically in the form of lectures, discussions, group work and also field practice. Learning is designed with the aim that SPMI activities at Hasanuddin University can be carried out well and according to the PPEPP cycle.
