Focus Group Discussion on Finalizing the Self-Evaluation Report for IABEE International Accreditation in 2025 at Hasanuddin University

The Hasanuddin University (Unhas) Quality Assurance and Education Development Agency (LPMPP) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to finalize the preparation of the Self-Evaluation Report (SER) for IABEE International Accreditation in 2025. The two-day event, held from Friday to Saturday (July 11-12, 2025) at the Aston Makassar Hotel and Convention Center, was attended by approximately 41 participants consisting of the University Task Force Team and Task Force Teams from five leading study programs.
The five study programs are Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geological Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Each program was represented by the Program Chair and four members of the Task Force Team who actively participated in the preparation of the accreditation documents.
The event was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Ir. Musrizal Muin, M.Sc, as the Head of LPMPP Unhas, who delivered a speech and motivated all participants to complete the SER documents with international quality standards.
This FGD featured a number of expert speakers who are competent in their fields, including Prof. Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., MN., Ph.D, Prof. Dr. Kasbawati, S.Si., M.Si, Prof. Dr. Yusring Sanusi, Baso, S.S., M.App.Ling, Dr. phil.nat. This activity aims to provide guidance and support to study programs in understanding the standards and criteria for IABEE international accreditation. The main focus is on finalizing the Self-Evaluation Report (SER) document, which is expected to meet all the requirements and standards for international accreditation.
