Four Study Programs at Hasanuddin University undergo a visitation process from the ASIIN international accreditation agency. The visitation activity began with an initial meeting with the Program Coordinator and Representative of the Rector of Hasanuddin University which took place starting at 11.00 Wita in the Unhas Academic Senate Room, 2nd Floor of the Unhas Rectorate Building, Thursday (07/03).

The study programs that underwent the visitation process came from the Faculty of Forestry, Faculty of Agriculture and the Graduate School, consisting of Bachelor of Forestry, Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering, Master of Plant Pest and Disease Science and Master of Environmental Management.

Present at the meeting, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc. as Rector of Unhas, accompanied by the Chairperson of the Unhas Board of Trustees, Academic Senate, Vice Rectors, Heads of Institutions and their staff, Directors and their staff, and Deans within Unhas.

The ASIIN assessors involved in the visitation process are:

Starting the activity, Unhas Rector Prof. JJ expressed his welcome to the ASIIN assessors. He said, Unhas continuously continues to carry out the optimization process in various fields, including the continuous improvement of the quality of education, one of which is by encouraging study programs for international accreditation.

Furthermore, Prof. JJ said, Unhas optimally facilitates and empowers all study programs to get international recognition through several strategic steps and as the largest state university with various achievements not only in Eastern Indonesia, strategic steps continue to be taken by Unhas through good collaboration.

“The suggestions and input that will be given will enrich Unhas and each study program in implementing quality improvement programs and tridarma that will be carried out in the future. We hope that this effort will make Unhas to continue to maintain the quality of education provided, “explained Prof. JJ.

The initial ASIIN assessment activities went smoothly until 10.30 Wita where after a question and answer session with ASIIN assessors, the assessment process continued with a visit to each accredited study program.

The final meeting of ASIIN Assessors and Program Coordinators and Rector Representatives of Hasanuddin University for cluster E was marked by listening to the assessment results from the assessors, which took place starting at 15.00 Wita in the Senate Room 2nd Floor, Rectorate Building, Unhas Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar, Friday (08/03).

The results of the assessment process will be submitted after a thorough document review has been conducted by ASIIN. For document improvements, it will be submitted before the assessment results are officially issued by ASIIN. The assessment activity went smoothly until 16.00 Wita and was closed with a group photo.
