The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the Institute for Quality Assurance and Educational Development (LPMPP) of Hasanuddin University (Unhas) and the Faculty of Medicine, Bosowa University took place on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Meeting Room A of LPMPP Unhas. This collaboration aims to support the evaluation of Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) documents, assistance in preparing Outcome-Based Education (OBE) based curriculum, and assistance in accreditation. This agreement is a strategic step in improving the quality of education and preparing for accreditation for the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Bosowa.

From Bosowa University, Dr. dr. Rahmawati Thamrin, Sp.And, as the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Bosowa University, was present. In her speech, she said that the Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Bosowa really needs assistance, especially in terms of international accreditation. Also present were Dr. Chelvi Wijaya, Sp.PK, Khumaira, S.Ked., MKM, and Yulfikasari, M.Kes who supported the realization of this collaboration in order to improve educational standards and academic quality in their institutions.

From LPMPP Unhas, this event was attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Musrizal Muin, M.Sc, as the Chairperson of LPMPP, who in his speech expressed his appreciation for the cooperation initiative from the Faculty of Medicine, Bosowa University. In addition, Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., MN., Ph.D, as Secretary of LPMPP, also gave a presentation on the profile of Unhas and LPMPP Unhas. Also present were Prof. Dr. Yusring Sanusi B, S.S., M.App.Ling., as Head of the Academic Quality Control and Improvement Division, Dr.phil.nat. Sri Widodo, ST., MT., as Head of Internal Quality Assurance Division, and Prof. Dr. Kasbawati, S.Si., M.Si., as Head of Accreditation Management Division.

This collaboration marks the commitment of both institutions in improving the quality of higher education through quality-oriented academic evaluation and assistance. With assistance from LPMPP Unhas, the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Bosowa is expected to be better prepared to face accreditation challenges and improve the quality of its graduates according to national and international education standards. This collaboration also opens wider opportunities for both institutions.

With the signing of this MoA, both institutions are committed to working together sustainably in strengthening the academic quality assurance system. The hope is that this collaboration will not only provide benefits for both institutions, but also have a positive impact on students, teaching staff, and the development of science and technology in the fields of medicine and health. In the future, LPMPP Unhas and the Faculty of Medicine, Bosowa University will continue to establish synergies in improving the quality of education based on international standards.
