LPMPP Unhas Holds FGD on Fulfilling ASIIN Full Accreditation Standards for Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist Study Program and Physics Undergraduate Study Program

The Hasanuddin University Quality Assurance and Education Development Agency (LPMPP) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) entitled “Preparing Responses to Fulfil ASIIN Full Accreditation Requirements for the Specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology Cluster B Study Program and Physics Cluster F Study Program within the Scope of Hasanuddin University in 2025”. The event took place over two days, Saturday to Sunday, July 26–27, 2025, at the Unhas Hotel & Convention Center.
The event was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Ir. Musrizal Muin, M.Sc., as the Head of LPMPP Hasanuddin University. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of the international accreditation process as part of Unhas’ commitment to improving the quality of education and global competitiveness of study programs.
This activity was attended by 10 participants, consisting of the Heads of Study Programs and Task Force Teams from two study programs, namely:
- Specialist Program (Sp.1) in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Bachelor of Science in Physics Program
Each study program is represented by one Head of Study Program and four members of the Task Force Team who are responsible for the follow-up process of fulfilling the full accreditation standards by ASIIN (Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, Informatik, Naturwissenschaften und Mathematik) — an international accreditation agency based in Germany.
The speakers in this FGD are academics and practitioners with experience in accreditation and educational quality development, namely:

- Prof. Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., MN., Ph.D
- Prof. Dr. Kasbawati, S.Si., M.Si.
- Prof. Dr. Yusring Sanusi 8., S.S., M.App.Ling.
- Dr.phil.nat. Ir. Sri Widodo, S.T., M.T.
- dr. Asty Amalia, M.MedEd
- dr. Rusdina Bte Ladju, Ph.D
This FGD aims to gather input and feedback from experts and relevant stakeholders regarding the readiness of both study programs to meet all ASIIN full accreditation standards. In addition, this activity also focuses on formulating concrete steps, identifying gaps, and developing sustainable improvement strategies to ensure that the accreditation process runs effectively, is well-structured, and produces quality results.
Through this activity, LPMPP Unhas reaffirms its role as the main facilitator in supporting study programs to achieve international quality standards, in line with the vision of Hasanuddin University as a world-class higher education institution.
