FGD FINALIZATION OF JOINT SELF-ASSESSMENT REPORT DOCUMENTS AND DOCUMENTATION OF EVIDENCE FOR ASIIN INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION IN 2025

In order to support the achievement of international accreditation and the improvement of global academic standards, the Institute for Quality Assurance and Educational Development (LPMPP) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to finalize the Joint Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and Documentation of Evidence for ASIIN International Accreditation. This event took place at the Aston Makassar Hotel from Friday to Sunday, October 17-19, 2025, and was attended by approximately 39 participants consisting of the University Task Force Team and the Task Force Team from six study programs within the scope of Unhas, namely the Bachelor of Animal Husbandry Study Program; Food Science and Technology Undergraduate Program; Aquaculture Undergraduate Program; Mathematics Undergraduate Program; Geophysics Undergraduate Program; Agrotechnology Undergraduate Program (5 people per program).
This FGD aims to align perceptions and ensure the completeness and suitability of documents, including reports and evidence, with ASIIN international accreditation standards before they are officially submitted to the ASIIN Accreditation Agency.
The activity began with independent work by the study program task force team to compile the Joint SAR and evidence documents, which were then presented in front of their respective facilitators. The Joint SAR and evidence documents are a combination of documents for each criterion from all study programs in a cluster, which were worked on in groups consisting of the person in charge of each criterion from each study program.
Through this FGD, Hasanuddin University demonstrated its strong commitment to realizing its vision of becoming a world-class university through international recognition. It is hoped that the finalization of the JSAR and evidence will serve as a strategic step toward successful ASIIN accreditation in 2025, while also strengthening Unhas’ position globally in terms of educational quality, governance, and graduate competitiveness.
