Makassar, July 9, 2024 – The Institute for Quality Assurance and Educational Development (LPMPP) of Hasanuddin University (Unhas) hosted a benchmarking event involving the Institute of Social and Political Sciences (IISIP) YAPIS Biak and Fajar University Makassar. This activity took place in Meeting Room “A” LPMPP.

The event was attended by four representatives from IISIP YAPIS Biak, led by Dr. Hermanu Iriawan, SE, M.Si (Rector of IISIP YAPIS Biak), Iswahyudi, M.IP (Head of LPM), Dr. Ediyanto (Secretary of LPM), and Irwan, M.Kom (Ka.LabKom). From Fajar University, there were nine participants who attended, including Dr. Ir. Mujahid, SE., M.M (Dean of the Postgraduate Faculty), Dr. Sri Gusty, ST., MT (Vice Dean of the Postgraduate Faculty), Dr. Ir. Muhammad Chaerul, ST., SKM., M.Sc (Head of the Internal Quality Assurance and Development Agency), Dr. Andi Vita Sukmarini, S.I.Kom., M.I.Kom (Head of the Communication Master Study Program), and others.

From the LPMPP Unhas, this event was led by Prof. Dr. Ir. Musrizal Muin, M.Sc (Head of LPMPP), accompanied by Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., MN., Ph.D (Secretary of LPMPP) and heads of related divisions such as Prof. Dr. Yusring Sanusi B, S.S., M.App.Ling (Head of Curriculum and Learning Development Division), Prof. Dr. Kasbawati, S.Si., M.Si (Head of Accreditation Management Division), and Dr. Phil. Nat. Sri Widodo, ST., MT (Head of Internal Quality Assurance Division).

The main purpose of this activity is to discuss the mechanism and schedule of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) Document Review activities of the IISIP YAPIS Biak Institute. While from Fajar University, the focus is on preparation for the accreditation process through the Independent Accreditation Agency (LAM), with an emphasis on the Quality Assurance System and the implementation of Internal Quality Audit (AMI) as well as Education Program Development and Quality Assurance (PPEPP).

This benchmarking activity is expected to strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions in an effort to improve the quality of education in Indonesia.
