The Internal Quality Assurance Division of the Quality Assurance and Education Development Institute (LPMPP) at Hasanuddin University held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the Improvement of SPMI Documents in accordance with Permendiktek No. 39 of 2025, which took place from October 31 to November 2, 2025 at Unhas Hotel & Convention.

SPMI itself is a system used to ensure that educational activities and learning processes in higher education institutions are carried out in accordance with established quality standards.

The FGD presented speakers who are competent in the field of quality assurance, namely:

1. Prof. Dr. Ir. Musrizal Muin, M.Sc
2. Prof. Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., MN., Ph.D
3. Prof. Dr. Kasbawati, S.Si., M.Si
4. Prof. Dr. Yusring Sanusi Baso, S.S., M.App.Ling

5. phil.nat. Ir. Sri Widodo, ST.,MT

The activity was conducted in the form of a focus group discussion (FGD) covering several main agendas, namely:

1. Presentation of material on the new quality assurance policy;
2. Discussion and review of the contents of the SPMI document;
3. Formulation of recommendations for refinement and finalization of the document;
4. Formulation of follow-up actions for the implementation of the FGD results.

Through this activity, they were actively involved in providing suggestions and improvements to the content of the document, resulting in comprehensive and applicable recommendations for improving the internal quality of Hasanuddin University.

In closing, this activity is expected to be a strategic step in ensuring that all quality assurance processes at Hasanuddin University are in line with the latest regulations, as well as strengthening the institution’s commitment to realizing excellent and sustainable higher education governance.
