The activities of preparing and developing SPMI documents are under the control of the Internal Quality Assurance Center which has the task of developing and managing an internal quality assurance system that exceeds the National Higher Education Standards and a learning monitoring and evaluation system. The Internal Quality Assurance Center has the function of assessing and developing quality instruments that include quality policy documents, quality manuals, quality standards and objectives, and quality forms that exceed the National Higher Education Standards and are in line with the direction of sustainable development of Unhas.
The Internal Quality Assurance System Policy (Quality Policy) is a quality policy guidebook or main document that becomes the basis for preparing more operational documents below, namely SPMI Standards, SPMI Manuals, and SPMI Forms in the context of implementing SPMI which refers to the Hasanuddin University Academic Senate Regulation Number 4867 / UN4 / IT.03 / 2017 concerning the Internal Quality Assurance System Assurance Policy. SPMI Policy Document contains the design and implementation of Unhas quality culture, philosophical foundation, paradigm, and institutional and management principles of Hasanuddin University, especially regarding the vision, mission and objectives of Hasanuddin University education.
This SPMI Manual Book/Document is useful for guiding the SPMI scope decision authority holders, lecturers and education personnel in implementing SPMI Standards, in accordance with the authority of each standard that has been determined by the Higher Education standards that refer to the Higher Education SN-PT. In principle, this document contains the Determination, Implementation, Implementation Evaluation, Implementation Control and Improvement of SPMI standards (PPEPP).
The SPMI Standard document contains various criteria, measures, benchmarks, or specifications of all activities in the implementation of education, research, and community service to realize the Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives (VMTS) of higher education to satisfy internal and external stakeholders of Hasanuddin University. In principle, SPMI standards refer to the National Higher Education Standards (SN-PT) according to Permenristekdikti No. 44 of 2015 in establishing various achievement standards, standard achievement strategies, achievement indicators and compliance in implementing SPMI. Permendikbud No. 44 of 2015 concerning National Education Standards from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, requires that as a university, Hasanuddin University is obliged to set SPMI standards that exceed the minimum standards (either qualitatively or quantitatively) as an integral part of carrying out the Tridharma PT at Hasanuddin University.
The SPMI form contains the forms and templates required from each quality standard as a guideline for steps in carrying out tasks and documenting the implementation of tasks/activities.
