FGD on the Preparation of FIBAA Full Accreditation for Study Programs in Clusters 3 and 4

The Hasanuddin University Quality Assurance and Education Development Agency (LPMPP) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the Preparation of Responses for FIBAA Full Accreditation for Study Programs in Clusters 3 and 4 on Friday–Saturday, November 14–15, 2025, from 3:30 p.m. until completion. The event will take place at the Hotel & Convention, Hasanuddin University Campus, Jl. Perintis Kemerdekaan Km. 10 Makassar.
The event was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Ir. Musrizal Muin, M.Sc, as the Head of LPMPP Hasanuddin University. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of document readiness and alignment of understanding among teams in facing the international accreditation process, with the aim of gathering in-depth insights, aligning perceptions, and compiling documents that meet FIBAA international accreditation standards in a comprehensive and accurate manner.
Through intensive discussions, participants are expected to be able to identify the need for standard alignment and develop strategic steps to support the achievement of full accreditation for the relevant study programs. This activity was attended by approximately 33 participants consisting of the Task Force Team from five study programs and the University, including:
- Development Economics (Bachelor’s Program, 5 students)
- Communication Studies (Bachelor’s Degree Program, 5 students)
- International Relations (Bachelor’s Degree Program, 5 students)
- Law (Bachelor’s Degree Program, 5 students)
- State Administrative Law (Bachelor’s Program, 5 students)

With the implementation of this activity, it is hoped that the FIBAA accreditation process for Cluster 3 and 4 study programs can run in a more focused, systematic manner and in accordance with international education quality standards.
