The Hasanuddin University Quality Assurance and Education Development Agency (LPMPP) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to prepare the Joint Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and evidence documents for the 2025 ASIIN International Accreditation for study programs at Hasanuddin University.

The FGD was attended by approximately 42 participants consisting of the University Task Force Team and Task Force Teams from six study programs, namely the Heads of the Bachelor of Animal Husbandry, Bachelor of Food Science and Technology, Bachelor of Aquaculture, Bachelor of Mathematics, Bachelor of Geophysics, and Bachelor of Agrotechnology study programs, each accompanied by a support team consisting of four people per study program.

The event was officially opened by Prof. Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., MN., Ph.D, Secretary of LPMPP Unhas, who was also present as one of the main speakers. Other speakers who contributed material and guidance to the discussion were Prof. Dr. Kasbawati, S.Si., M.Si., Prof. Dr. Yusring Sanusi, Baso, S.S., M.App.Ling, Dr. phil.nat. Ir. Sri Widodo, ST., MT, and Dr. Ir. Prastawa Budi, M.Sc.

The event, which took place at the Aston Makassar Hotel & Convention Center over three days, from Friday to Sunday (September 19-21, 2025) from 3:30 p.m. WITA until completion, aimed to gather specific information, analyze findings, and reach a consensus on the substance of the accreditation document. As a result, the final report is expected to be accurate, comprehensive, and reflect the actual conditions on the ground.

Through this FGD, Hasanuddin University demonstrated its commitment to improving the quality of education and meeting international accreditation standards, particularly ASIIN, which is the benchmark for the quality of study programs in science and technology.
