Study Visit by LPMPP University of West Sulawesi to LPMPP UNHAS

On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, the Quality Assurance and Educational Development Agency (LPMPP) of Hasanuddin University received a study visit from the Quality Assurance and Learning Development Agency (LPMPP) of West Sulawesi University. The event took place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. WITA at the LPMPP Unhas meeting room. The visit aimed to strengthen the LPMPP Unsulbar’s insights and strategies in preparation for institutional accreditation and the development of an education quality assurance system within the University of West Sulawesi.
The LPMPP Unsulbar delegation was led by the Head of LPMPP, Dr. Rafika, M.Pd, accompanied by the Curriculum Commission Senate Prof. Nurani, the Head of AIPT Document Compilation Dr. Ritabulan, S.Hut., M.Si, Head of the Learning Development Center Musdar M., S.Pd., M.Pd, and Head of the Quality Assurance Center Rahmat Januar Noor, S.Si., M.Si. They were warmly received by the LPMPP Unhas leadership team, which includes LPMPP Chair Prof. Dr. Musrizal Muin, M.Sc, LPMPP Secretary Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., MN., Ph.D, and Head of the Academic Quality Control and Improvement Division Prof. Dr. Yusring Sanusi B., S.S., M.App.Ling.
The event was officially opened by the Chair of LPMPP Unhas with a speech emphasizing the importance of collaboration between institutions in improving the quality of higher education. The next speech was delivered by the Chair of LPMPP Unsulbar, who expressed appreciation and hopes for this visit as a form of joint learning in addressing the challenges of quality assurance in higher education. Following the speeches, the event continued with a group photo session and the exchange of souvenirs as a symbol of friendship and ongoing collaboration between the two institutions.
The event then proceeded with a presentation by the Secretary of LPMPP Unhas, who explained the operational system, quality control processes, and best practices in preparing accreditation documents at Hasanuddin University. The visit was conducted in a lively and interactive atmosphere, particularly during the discussion and question-and-answer session. Participants from Unsulbar were enthusiastic about exploring various technical and strategic aspects of implementing the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) at Unhas. It is hoped that through this activity, LPMPP Unsulbar can strengthen their internal systems and adopt relevant best practices to implement at their respective institutions.
