Six Study Programs at Unhas Undergo ASIIN Visitation Process

Six other Study Programs at Hasanuddin University underwent a visitation process from the ASIIN international accreditation agency. The visitation activity began with an initial meeting with the Program Coordinator and Representative of the Rector of Hasanuddin University which took place starting at 14.00 Wita at the Unhas Hotel and Convention Ballroom, Unhas Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar, Wednesday (28/02).
The six study programs that were visited came from the Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, consisting of:
- Bachelor of Nursing-Professional Nursing Study Program, Master of Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist, and Cardiology and Vascular Medicine Specialist who are members of cluster B.
- Bachelor of Statistics and Bachelor of Physics programs which are incorporated into cluster F
Also present at the meeting, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc. as Rector of Unhas, accompanied by the Chairperson of the Unhas Board of Trustees, Academic Senate, Vice Rectors, Heads of Institutions and their staff, Directors and their staff, and Deans within Unhas.
Starting the activity, Unhas Rector Prof. JJ expressed his welcome to the ASIIN assessors. He said, Unhas as a university has a commitment to continuous quality improvement and has become the spirit of the university since it was founded in 1956 and became the first PTNBH status university from eastern Indonesia since the issuance of regulations from the government regarding the status of university independence.
“Unhas optimally facilitates and empowers all study programs to gain international recognition through several strategic steps. The suggestions and input that will be given will enrich Unhas and each study program in implementing quality improvement programs and tridarma that will be carried out in the future, “explained Prof. JJ.
After opening remarks from the University leadership, it was continued with questions and answers with ASIIN assessors which were divided into 2 sessions for 2 Clusters, namely Clusters B and F. In general, the assessors asked questions related to the learning process, infrastructure facilities, quality assurance, and Unhas achievements in general.

The opening of the ASIIN assessment went smoothly until 15.30 Wita and continued with the assessment process and visits by assessors to each accredited study program.
The final meeting of ASIIN Assessors and Program Coordinators and Representatives of the Rector of Hasanuddin University which took place at 15.00 Wita at the Unhas Hotel and Convention Ballroom, Unhas Tamalanrea Campus, on Thursday (29/02) where the assessors read the assessment results for each cluster and gave responses to recommendations by university leaders.
ASIIN Cluster B and F assessment activities went smoothly until 16.00 Wita and closed with a group photo.
